Genetic-based nutrition and Wellness planning
Your genetics are the key to your health
Trugenex reads the information you already carry, then brings it into a planning conversation about nutrition, routine, and what to do first.

Three keys
One practice, three ways in.
Most people arrive holding one of them. The first appointment works out which, and whether the other two matter yet.
How the approach works-
01 The first key
Nutrition
Personal information brought into a planning conversation about what you actually eat in a normal week.
-
02 The second key
Wellness
Sleep, routine, and training load looked at together, so a plan gets built around the life it has to fit.
-
03 The third key
Skin
Holistic MedSpa services on their own path, with their own questions and their own appointment.
The picture
General advice is written for the middle.
A population average describes a crowd. Your report describes you, which is why a first appointment starts by working out where you actually sit before anything gets planned.
Scroll the figure sideways to reach the mark outside the middle.
Watch
The practice, in its own voice.
Five videos from the practice's own channel, playing in place. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play.

How it goes
Three steps, then a decision that is yours.
- 01
Bring what you have
A report, a question, or just a goal in plain words. Any of the three is a starting point.
- 02
Read it together
What the information suggests, what it does not settle, and which questions are still open.
- 03
Turn one key
A single change, small enough to begin this week and clear enough to tell whether it worked.
What holds and what moves
One key is steady. Three you turn every week.
Genetics is the part that does not change between Tuesday and Saturday. That is what makes it worth reading first, and what the other three get planned around.
-
Inherited
Steady. It sets the direction.
-
Sleep
Moves weekly. Usually turned first.
-
Training
Moves with the season.
-
Schedule
Decides what is actually possible.
The dials illustrate how steady each input is, not a reading of any one person.
The practice
The people who actually read it with you.
Three practitioners, one intake conversation. Pick any portrait and it opens into that person's background and scope of work.

Kari Rayl, FDN-P
Owner and CEO
Kari owns and leads Trugenex. She has spent over a decade training medical providers in functional medicine protocols.
Her work covers genetic expression, nutrition, exercise, and functional medicine lab testing. If you arrive holding a report you do not fully understand, hers is usually the first conversation.
She works directly with Dr. Boulos, so that nutrition planning and medical oversight stay in the same room rather than running on separate tracks.

Dr. Francesca Boulos, MD
Medical Director, Optimal Health
Dr. Boulos is Medical Director at Trugenex. She combines evidence-based conventional medicine with a functional medicine approach.
Rather than stopping at the symptom in front of her, she works to identify the factors underneath it. She also reviews what a patient is already taking, so that every prescription still has a reason to be there.
Her stated order of work is short: stabilize first, investigate second.
- Medication review
- Functional medicine

Julie King
Holistic Esthetician and Skin Wellness Specialist
Julie leads the Holistic MedSpa path. For over a year she and the team searched for skincare and treatments the practice would be willing to stand behind, and kept only what met that bar.
Her approach to skin rejuvenation pairs esthetic technique with clean, non-toxic products, chosen so that what helps the skin does not work against the rest of your health.
Rather than masking what you have noticed, a first session works out which factors are worth addressing and builds a plan from there.
